'Young Coconut' Pudding

Let's now see how to prepare a delicious desert from Young Coconuts. Yes, its a pudding and is called Young Coconut Pudding.


INGREDIENTS

  • 400g condensed milk

  • 250 ml fresh cream

  • A Pinch of salt

  • 1 bowl fresh coconut milk

  • 1 bowl full fat cow milk

  • 10g china grass or agar-agar

  • 1 bowl water

  • ½ bowl chopped tender coconut meat

  • Cherries and grated nuts

STEPS TO COOK:

  1. First add the above said quantity of condensed milk and milk cream in a vessel. With this add a cup of full fat cows' milk.

  2. Mix all the ingredients completely till everything combines well.

  3. Boil the mix, and when it comes to a mere boil, add a pinch of salt and remove from heat and let it cool down.

  4. Soak 10 grams of agar-agar in one bowl of water for 5 minutes.Bring it to a boil and let it simmer till the agar-agar is melted.

  5. Strain well and add to the prepared mixture. Add in the tender coconut meat to the pudding mix.

  6. Pour it in nice serving bowls and let it set in the fridge for 4 hours.Serve cold.
